Mykolaiv Allocates ₴1.06M for Flower Seedlings in Upcoming Tender

Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the purchase of flower seedlings. More than a million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The procurement was ordered by the Mykolaiv Parks utility company. The tender was announced for flower seedlings worth UAH 1 million 63 thousand 430.

The deadline for submitting bids is March 26, and the auction is scheduled for March 27. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 10,634.

The contractor must deliver more than 37,400 different flowers by May 20.

The seedlings must be 15 to 20 centimeters high, healthy, free of mechanical damage or disease, with a well-developed root system and match the specified varieties and colors. Flower seedlings should be well moistened, free of pests and diseases, in pots 9-11 cm in diameter.

Thus, the flowers should include blue and white ageratum, yellow tagetis, brilliant red salvia, red coleus, silver seaside cineraria, ever-flowering red, white and pink begonia, gazania and ampelous pelargonium.

The guaranteed shelf life of the seedlings must be at least 72 hours. Flower seedlings should be 2025. Payment will be made by bank transfer to the supplier's account within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Pervomaisk has recently selected contractors for street cleaning and landscaping. The total value of the two tenders announced by the local authorities exceeds UAH 6 million, and the winners were selected without competition.

In 2024, the largest expenditures of Mykolaivski Parky municipal enterprise were related to the purchase of machinery, equipment and maintenance of the city's green areas. The company planned to spend UAH 5.6 million on landscaping, including the purchase of trees, shrubs, perennials and flower bulbs.
