The Bashtanka territorial community in Mykolaiv Oblast decided to build shelters on the territory of two lyceums. It is planned to spend about three million hryvnias on project documentation.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

The projects were initiated by the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Executive Committee of the Bashtanka City Council.

Thus, it is planned to spend about UAH 1.3 million on the production of design estimates for the new construction of a radioactive waste management facility on the territory of the Novoyehoriv Lyceum, Bashtanka TG, Mykolaiv region. UAH 1.5 million will be spent on the design documentation for the Dobrenskyi lyceum shelter.

The purpose of the projects is to prepare the design and development plan for its further implementation: providing quality educational services, online learning, and ensuring uninterrupted access to educational services.

The projects currently need funding.

They also plan to build a shelter for the Nechayansky Lyceum. The building will be able to accommodate up to 150 people, so the school will be able to work in two shifts. More than UAH 35 million was allocated from the budget for this purpose. The construction was designed by a company that was featured in a journalistic investigation.
