Mykolaiv has set a date for the continuation of the city council session. The deputies will meet on March 12 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held remotely via video conference.

The relevant order was signed by the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.

Mykolaiv has set a date for the continuation of the plenary meeting of the 51st regular session of the city council of the VIII convocation.

According to the document, the continuation of the plenary session will be held on March 12, 2026 at 11:00. The meeting will be held remotely via videoconference, and the broadcast will be provided on the city council's YouTube channel and the official website of the council, which guarantees open access for city residents.

Intent has traditionally planned to broadcast the plenary session online.

At the beginning of the meeting in late February, members of the Mykolaiv City Council supported the report on the implementation of the budget for 2025. During the discussion of the issue, deputy Dombrovska asked for information on how many schools were needed and how many were operating in the city. A dispute arose over the unused 317 million hryvnias.

In addition, the deputies did not support the Public Budget program for 2026-2028. Some councillors said that it was inappropriate to hold tenders without a guarantee of further funding in the face of a budget deficit. One of the councillors emphasized the need to prioritize the city so that funds are directed to critical projects rather than less important initiatives.

They also supported amending the city council's decision "On Approval of the Program for Reforming and Developing the Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv for 2025-2029."

Thus, almost UAH 370 million has been allocated for the elimination of illegal landfills. These funds will be used for the systematic cleaning of large and local areas of the city to improve the sanitary condition and level of improvement.

The district administrations of the Central, Zavodsky, Ingulsky and Korabelny districts will receive funds for local work, including cleaning up adjacent territories and landscaping small landfills.
