A school building in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson was severely damaged during an enemy shelling.

This was reported by the Kherson MBA.

According to the administration, the walls of the school were heavily damaged. More than 25 windows were smashed, and pre-installed OSB boards were torn off.

The explosions also damaged the gym: the shock wave tore off the panels, and craters formed in the surrounding area. One of the shells fell right under a tree, damaging the fence and tearing the bars off the windows. The teacher's room was also heavily damaged.

"This is a teacher's room, look what the bastards are doing. The door was torn out and torn apart," said a representative of the utility company.

Debris also hit an outbuilding near the school, and some property was destroyed. Repair crews and local residents are already working on the spot and have quickly organized to restore the damaged areas.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled Kherson region, hitting 38 settlements, including the city of Kherson.

On January 23, Russians damaged 2 high-rise buildings and 9 private houses. The occupants also damaged outbuildings, a garage and private cars. Three people were injured.

On January 22, Russian troops fired twice at rescuers. During the shelling of one of Kherson's neighborhoods, an employee of the State Emergency Service was injured while performing emergency rescue operations. He was hospitalized, and the fire was quickly extinguished.

Before that, the occupiers had struck numerous times in the Kherson region. The aggression killed two people and injured 11 others.

In the morning, a 61-year-old local resident fell victim to a Russian "petal" mine in the village of Antonivka. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained serious injuries - an explosive wound and a foot injury. The victim was promptly taken to hospital.
