In Mykolaiv, during a meeting of the permanent deputy commission on housing and communal services, the problem of paying salaries to employees of medical institutions subordinated to the city council was again discussed.

The chairman of the commission , Dmytro Ivanov, asked whether all medical workers had received their due payments.

In response, Iryna Shamrai, head of the healthcare department of Mykolaiv City Council , said that there were no requests or complaints about delays in salaries in the subordinate institutions. However, deputy Iryna Boychenko questioned this information, noting that deputies had previously raised the issue of debts, and emphasized the importance of checking May payments.

"Iryna Valentynivna, no, there are. Listen, we wrote this request ourselves, and why didn't we ask another question - what is the debt today? We did not ask this question. I asked if everyone has been paid off by now, or not?" asked Boychenko.

Iryna Shamrai explained that the advance payment and salary have statutory payment deadlines, and as of May 26, the advance payment was due. But later it turned out that the issue caused contradictory assessments - in particular, there were remarks that the information from medical institutions and people on the ground did not coincide.

"Then our people and the director must be working for different companies," replied MP Boychenko.

The head of the department urged the deputies to provide specific names of the employees who allegedly did not receive payments so that each case could be investigated individually.

She also reminded that the third maternity hospital is financed from the city budget and additionally receives funds from the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU), so at the time of the meeting there were no debts for May. The official claimed that the advance payment had been made and there were no debts.

As a result, the deputies decided to return to this issue with updated information from each medical institution separately.

Earlier, in Mykolaiv, the deputies considered the initiative of their colleague regarding the situation with the payment of wages in the city's medical institutions. In particular, they discussed the arrears for the last three months.
