Children among the wounded: consequences of enemy attacks in Kherson region

Over the past day, Russian troops did not stop attacking in the Kherson region. Eight people were injured in the shelling, including two children.

According to the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, 33 settlements were under enemy drone terror, artillery shelling and air strikes. In particular, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Velyetenske, Poniativka, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka, Krupytsia, Krasnyi Mayak, Tomaryne, Shevchenivka, Kreschenivka, Vesele, Osokorivka, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Mykilske, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Odradokamyanka, Olgivka, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tomina Balka, and the city of Kherson.

The occupiers targeted both critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. Two multi-storey buildings, four private houses, a gas pipeline, a cell tower and several cars were damaged.

Eight people were wounded in the shelling, including two children.

In the morning, on May 27, the enemy resumed drone attacks on the regional center. According to the press service of the Kherson MVA, Dniprovsky district was under attack.

A 59-year-old local resident sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. Police officers took the man to the hospital.

On May 25-26 , Russian troops continued to terrorize the civilian population - dozens of settlements in the region were under attack. The occupiers attacked from the air, using drones, artillery and aircraft.

Earlier, two civilians were killed and six others were wounded in the attack. Then, the Russians shelled more than 40 settlements in Kherson region and damaged housing, a factory, railway infrastructure and mobile communications.
