The State Tax Inspectorate plans to conduct 4,500 inspections this year, 246 of which will be in Odesa region.

This was reported by analysts of the Opendatabot platform.

According to this indicator, the region ranked fifth in the country. No inspections are planned in Kherson region, and 73 are planned in Mykolaiv region. The leaders are: Kyiv - 786 inspections, Dnipro and Petrivske regions - 372 inspections, Kyiv region - 281 inspections, and Lviv region - 264 inspections.

This year, the State Tax Service plans to pay most attention to companies - they account for 78% or 3,542 planned inspections. In every fifth case, individual entrepreneurs should expect a visit from the tax authorities - 1016 inspections. But businesses that have questions about personal income tax, military duty, and the unified social tax have only 258 inspections scheduled.

Companies in the wholesale trade and agriculture sectors will face the most inspections - 21% each. By a wide margin, the third most popular with the tax authorities are businesses engaged in food production: 5% of inspections.

The State Tax Service of Ukraine opened 931 proceedings against companies in Odesa region in 11 months of 2025. These are enforcement proceedings to collect fines, taxes, and fees from businesses in favor of the State Tax Service. There are 267 such proceedings in Mykolaiv region and 330 in Kherson region.

The number of proceedings does not mean the number of companies; some of them have more than one proceeding opened against them. For example, the leader among the companies against which the Tax Service has opened the most proceedings is the private enterprise Derevtechservice with 29 proceedings. It is followed by Kravbud (22), the editorial office of the city newspaper Kremin (20) and the football club Kryvbas (17).
