According to the investigation, the traitors were residents of Kakhovka, Hornostayevka and Kherson districts who voluntarily agreed to work for the aggressor.

One of the suspects headed the so-called "Korobkivka Territorial Department" of the occupier-controlled "administration."
The second collaborator became the so-called "head" of the occupation department in Kostiantynivka.
The third person involved was appointed "head of the territorial department" in the villages of Kozachi Lageri and Krynky.

The collaborators helped the occupiers control the communities, forced the locals to obey the new "orders" and publicly supported the invaders.

The SBU served them with a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration), which provides for up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Recently, law enforcement officers served suspicion notices to two residents of Kherson who worked for the enemy in a "police station" during the occupation of the city. They are a 37-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man suspected of voluntarily taking up positions in the illegally created "Suvorov City Police" that operated under the control of the invaders.

The court also sentenced a former police major from Kherson region who voluntarily defected to the occupiers. He was found guilty of committing serious criminal offenses, including treason and collaboration. The accused is a native of Illinka village, Kakhovka district, Kherson region, a resident of Fedorivka village, Dariivka community.
