From April 19 to April 20, Russian troops did not stop shelling Kherson region, targeting residential areas. At least 4 multi-storey buildings, 19 private houses, outbuildings, gas pipelines, garages and cars were damaged. Four people were injured in the shelling, and a man died in Stanislav, wounded by a combination of enemy strikes. A 65-year-old man in Antonivka also sustained fatal injuries.

On April 17-18, the Kherson region was again hit by massive shelling and air strikes, which targeted dozens of towns and villages, including Kherson. Four people were killed and 25 were injured, including a child. The shelling damaged 9 multi-storey buildings, 10 private houses, an ambulance and civilian cars. The occupants continue to terrorize civilians, attacking both large cities and villages.

Kherson continues to be under continuous attack by Russian troops, who are shelling the city from the left bank of the Dnipro River. In 2024, the occupiers struck with dozens of missiles, drones, and bombs, and the undermining of the Kakhovka Dam caused widespread destruction in the region.
