Russian Shelling Hits 36 Settlements in Kherson, 9 Civilians Wounded

Over the past day, 36 settlements in Kherson region came under Russian shelling. Nine civilians were wounded as a result of Russian aggression.

According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the communities under fire include Antonivka, Zelenivka, Molodizhne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Ponyativka, Tokarivka, Novotyanka, Zymivnyk, Komyshany, Beregove, Veletenske, Kizomys, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Sofiyivka, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Shlyakhove, Tyahyntsi, Burgunka, Lvov, Odradokamyanka, Novooleksandrivka, Vysoke, Novoraysk, Chervonyi Mayak, Kostyrka, Dudchany, Novovorontsovka, Kozatske and the city of Kherson.

Russian troops shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging 3 high-rise buildings and 5 private houses.

The occupiers also damaged a hangar, agricultural machinery and private cars. Nine people were wounded in the attack.

Earlier, Russian aircraft attacked the central district of Kherson. Social infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged. The attack killed one person and injured several others. When rescuers, social workers and utility workers arrived at the scene, the Russians opened artillery fire on them.

And in the village of Dudchany, the occupiers blew up a car with humanitarian bread. The car, driven by the village elder, hit a Russian anti-personnel mine. Despite the damage to the vehicle, the driver managed to get to the village and hide the car with the cargo.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russian army has fired more than 2,500 times at the Kherson city territorial community. More than 400 people have been injured as a result of the attacks, 39 of them children. More than 40 people, including four children, have been killed.
