Russian Shelling Hits 37 Settlements in Kherson, 8 Wounded Including Child

Over the past day, 37 settlements in Kherson region came under Russian shelling. Eight people, including one child, were wounded as a result of Russian aggression yesterday.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the enemy attacked critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, three high-rise buildings and 21 private houses were damaged. The occupiers also damaged an outbuilding and private cars.

37 settlements were under artillery fire and air strikes. In particular, Kherson, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Molodizhne, Naddnipryanske, Sadove, Zarechne, Mykilske, Ingulets, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Novotyanka, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Dniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Novoberislav, Zmiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Tomaryne, Chervonyi Mayak, Shylova Balka, Odradokamianka, Vysoke, Dudchany, Novoraysk, Monastyrske, Kostyrka and Kozatske.

According to the OVA press service, in Dudchany, the occupants destroyed a truck with humanitarian bread. While delivering the humanitarian bread, the village elder hit a Russian anti-personnel mine. The car was damaged, but the headman managed to get to the village and hide the car with the cargo.

Subsequently, a Russian drone attacked the car several times, causing it to catch fire and burn down completely.

Also on the evening of April 14, the Russian military attacked a house in the village of Vysoke, Beryslav district, with a drone. A 25-year-old woman and a 7-year-old boy were injured in the attack. The woman and the child sustained contusions, explosive and closed head injuries, the OVA reported. They are currently in hospital in moderate condition.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russian army has fired more than 2,500 times at the Kherson city territorial community. More than 400 people were injured as a result of the attacks, 39 of them children. More than 40 people, including four children, were killed.
