The Russian Armed Forces dropped explosives from a drone in Beryslav, Kherson region, killing a man.
This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Kherson region.
According to the investigation, on August 31, 2024, at about 09:40, the Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Beryslav, Kherson region. A 60-year-old local resident sustained life-threatening injuries.
Under the procedural control of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder.
According to Volodymyr Litvinov, the head of the Beryslav Military District Military Administration, the enemy conducted an air strike on the village of Odradokamyanka over the past day. They fired at Mykhailivka from artillery. Moreover, the occupants used unmanned aerial vehicles to attack the town of Beryslav and the village of Novoberislav. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. In total, on August 30, the Russian military shelled residential areas of Kherson region, including 2 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses. The Russian military also wounded three civilians.
In the afternoon, Russians shelled Novoraysk. A 45-year-old man walking down the street came under enemy fire. He received an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to the chest and leg. In the evening, a resident of Blahovishchenke village came under Russian fire. The 40-year-old man sustained contusion, explosive and craniocerebral injuries. He was taken to a hospital for medical care.
The day before, on August 29, during the shelling of the liberated part of the Kherson region , Russian occupants hit a post office, a shopping center and a store; residential areas of the region's settlements, including a high-rise building and seven private houses. The occupiers also damaged gas pipelines, a garage, private cars, a bus, and agricultural machinery. Six civilians were injured as a result of Russian aggression in the right-bank part of Kherson region.
