On the afternoon of April 7, Russian troops conducted an air strike on the outskirts of Kherson. The enemy directed guided bombs at a school in Stepanivka. Four people were injured in the Russian attack, including a 14-year-old boy.

According to preliminary information from the Kherson regional police, a 71-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and concussion. A 57-year-old security guard was hospitalized with a diagnosis of blast injury, contusion, and closed head injury. A 66-year-old citizen sustained shrapnel wounds to the head and chest, brain injury, contusion and is in serious condition. A 14-year-old boy sustained contusion, brain injury, and shrapnel wounds.

Half an hour later, the enemy started shelling Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result of artillery strikes, four local residents were killed and six others were wounded.

Women aged 71 and 77, as well as two men - a 60-year-old resident of Kherson and a currently unknown citizen, whose identity is being established by law enforcement - sustained fatal injuries.

Four women and two men aged 81 to 60 suffered explosive and craniocerebral injuries, shrapnel wounds, and acubarotraumas. A 60-year-old man also had his toe amputated.

The shelling continued during the rescue operation. The enemy deliberately resorts to the tactic of"double strikes" to inflict as much damage as possible on civilians and special services personnel. Apartment and private houses, a pharmacy, a school, and a dental clinic were damaged.

Law enforcement officers are taking measures to properly document the latest war crimes committed by the Russian army.

Yesterday, Russian troops opened fire on residential areas of Kherson. The shells hit an area where civilians were located, and the consequences were tragic: a 78-year-old woman was killed in front of her son.
