Enemy drones destroyed warehouses in Odesa region

The south of Odesa region was once again under massive attack by attack drones that hit civilian and port facilities at night. In just a few days, the region has experienced a series of devastating strikes that have resulted in deaths, large-scale fires and destruction.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

The night of April 8 again brought strikes to the south of Odesa region - Russian drones hit civilian and port infrastructure, causing the destruction of warehouses and outbuildings. The fires were promptly extinguished, and there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.

The attack was a continuation of a series of massive strikes on the region in recent days. On the night of April 6, Russian troops struck Odesa with a powerful attack, killing three people, including a child. Residential buildings, critical infrastructure and administrative buildings came under fire.

Due to numerous hits, fires broke out in the private sector, a dormitory, and on the territory of a children's institution, and vehicles caught fire. In Prymorsky district, a multi-storey residential complex and seven private houses were damaged. Public utilities continue to clear the area and close the broken windows, and the district administration is advising residents on further actions.

In Kyiv district, the aftermath of the attack is also underway: one multi-storey building, five private houses, a private kindergarten, a shop and 27 cars were damaged.

Earlier, on the night of April 5, the Russian army attacked the Odesa region with drones, hitting civilian infrastructure. Apartments and balconies caught fire, and three people were injured - two were hospitalized and one is undergoing outpatient treatment. The blast wave smashed windows in the surrounding buildings and damaged six cars.

Rescuers evacuated 20 residents and extinguished the fires. About 250 windows and 25 balconies were damaged in the buildings, and four balconies were completely destroyed.
