Russians attack foreign vessels off the coast of Odesa region

An enemy unmanned aerial vehicle hit a Panamanian-flagged tanker waiting to enter a port to load vegetable oil near the coast of Odesa region.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration , Oleh Kiper.

Unfortunately, one crew member was injured. He is now being provided with the necessary assistance. Marine rescue services are already on the scene, eliminating the fire on board. A vessel flying the flag of San Marino was also attacked as it was leaving the port with a cargo of corn. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and the vessel continued to move.

On January 9, a Russian attack drone also hit a civilian vessel flying the foreign flag of St. Kitts and Nevis on its way to the port of Chornomorsk, which was loading grain cargo within the Ukrainian Sea Corridor. There were victims. The vessel's seaworthiness was not affected and it is underway and headed for the nearest port. A vessel flying the flag of the Comoros, which was transporting soybeans, was also attacked near the port of Odesa. The attack killed a crew member, a Syrian citizen.

In the morning of January 10, the Russian army attacked industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, an empty tank was damaged on the territory of a port company, and insulation caught fire. However, there has been no information on the deaths and injuries so far.

On the night of January 10, Russians attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 121 Shahed, Gerber and other types of attack drones. On January 7, Odesa region was hit by a missile and drone attack on port infrastructure. The attack killed two people and injured several others.
