The occupants shelled residential areas, damaging two high-rise buildings, seven private houses, a gas pipeline and several cars.

Two people died as a result of the shelling. One of them, a 56-year-old man, died in hospital after a Russian drone strike in Kherson in the morning. Three others were injured in the attack. On the morning of January 21, a 61-year-old local resident fell victim to a Russian "petal" mine in Antonivka village. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained serious injuries - an explosive wound and a foot injury. The victim was promptly taken to the hospital.

Earlier, a police car hit a mine while evacuating a sick 60-year-old resident of frontline Odradokamianka.

Earlier, the Russian occupation army, which cynically terrorizes the population of the de-occupied Kherson region, recently remotely mined a section of one of the streets in the city's Dniprovskyi district with anti-personnel landmines"Petal".

Also in Kherson, police explosive technician Oleksandr Viter was killed during demining after Russian attacks . Before that, six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who were engaged in humanitarian demining in Kherson region, came under targeted fire from Russians and were killed.
