February 2025 brought new casualties to Kherson, as the city lost 13 of its residents this month.

According to the press service of the Kherson City Military Administration, 13 residents of Kherson were killed in February as a result of Russian shelling, and 113 more people were injured of varying severity.

"In February, there were only three days when we did not write about the killed and wounded residents of our community. And not because there were none. They were simply not known at the time," KHMWA said in a statement.

The occupiers continue to deliberately destroy civilian infrastructure and attack civilians, leaving Kherson residents no chance for a peaceful life.

Kherson is under daily attack by Russian occupation forces. Numerous explosions are heard in the city, civilians are killed and injured.

Recently, Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in Kherson and Beryslav districts, injuring 12 people, including three police officers. On the night of February 20, Kherson was shaken by a powerful explosion - a Russian guided aerial bomb hit a ten-story building. The strike completely destroyed 15 apartments in the building, from the first to the tenth floor. Windows in 80 other apartments were smashed.

On February 13, the occupiers shelled 39 settlements in the Kherson region. Enemy attacks claimed the lives of two civilians. On February 12, the invaders attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson, injuring a 24-year-old man. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, concussion and a shrapnel wound to his arm.

In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in hostile attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
