Russian Military Shelled 39 Settlements in Kherson, 3 Injured

Yesterday, on March 22, the Russian military shelled 39 settlements in the region and the city of Kherson. Three people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops shelled critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, they damaged a high-rise building and 22 private houses. The occupiers also destroyed outbuildings, a garage, agricultural machinery and private cars, and hit a farm.

Beryslav, Dudchany, Havrylivka, Antonivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Veletenske, Bilyayivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kostyrka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Odradokamyanka, Mykolaivka, Tyahyntsi, Burgunka, Lvov, Olhivka, Petrivka came under enemy fire and air strikes, Zmiyivka, Novoberislav, Shlyakhove, Bilozerka, Inzhenerne, Blahovishchenske, Sadove, Zelenivka, Osokorivka, Vesele, Dniprovske, Ivanivka, Kizomys, Mykilske, Naddnipryanske, Novotyanka, Poniativka, Prydniprovske, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tomyna Balka, and the city of Kherson.

In the afternoon, the Russian army struck Antonivka using a drone. A man of 40 years old was injured as a result of the explosives dropped from the UAV. He is in serious condition. The victim was taken to a hospital with a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to his legs and back. Russian troops also attacked a tractor working in a field near Kostyrka with a drone. A 55-year-old man was injured in the explosion. He sustained blast and brain injuries, as well as a shrapnel wound to his thigh.

The day before, on March 21, Russian troops opened fire on 38 settlements in the Kherson region, killing a local resident and wounding fourteen people. This year, in February, Russian shelling killed 13 residents of Kherson, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
