Russian Attacks in Kherson Region Kill 1, Injure 14 in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops opened fire on 38 localities in Kherson region, killing a local resident and wounding fourteen people.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, the attacks hit residential areas and social infrastructure. A multi-storey building and 7 private houses were damaged. The occupants also vandalized private cars and hit the cemetery.

According to the official, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Velytenske, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Sofiyivka, Tomyna Balka, Ingulets, Novotyanka, Beryslav came under enemy fire, Zmiyivka, Tyahynka, Fedorivka, Olgivka, Krupytsia, Urozhayne, Krasny Mayak, Havrylivka, Novovorontsovka, Mylove, Dudchany, Osokorivka, Burgunka, Respublika, Kachkarivka, Zolota Balka, Novoraysk, Mykhaylivka, Monastyrske, Vesele and the city of Kherson.

In the morning, Russian troops attacked a woman in Kherson with a UAV. The 57-year-old Kherson resident sustained an explosive injury as a result of the attack. Also, two residents of Stanislav, who were injured by a Russian drone attack this morning, were hospitalized. A 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were treated for explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as concussion.

In the morning, in Bilozerka<b> </b>, Russians attacked an elderly man who was riding his moped home with a UAV. He sustained life-threatening injuries due to the explosives dropped from the drone. Russian troops also attacked a civilian car in Bilozerka with a drone. As a result of the explosives being dropped on the vehicle, a 36-year-old man sustained explosive trauma, contusion, and shrapnel wounds to his face, abdomen, and leg. A 45-year-old woman was diagnosed with explosive trauma, contusion, shrapnel wounds and traumatic amputations of her legs.

A man who suffered from a Russian drone attack in Antonivka was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The 64-year-old suffered an explosive injury, abdominal wounds, as well as a fractured jaw, foot and knee. Some time later, the occupiers dropped explosives from the drone on another Antonivka resident. The 79-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a mine-blast injury and an ear wound.

At around 7 p.m., Russian troops attacked a cyclist in Tomyna Balka with a drone. The 56-year-old man was hit by an enemy drone. He suffered blast and brain injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to his legs.

This year, in February, 13 residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling, and another 113 people were injured of varying severity. In January 2025, 16 residents of Kherson were killed in enemy attacks, and another 154 residents were injured.
