Russian Airstrikes in Kherson: Casualties and Damage Reports

Yesterday, on February 2, the Russian military dropped explosives on a bus, fired at an ambulance and dropped a guided bomb on a residential building. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 13 others were injured, including 2 children.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, they damaged 4 high-rise buildings and 21 private houses. The occupiers also damaged gas pipelines, outbuildings, garages, storage facilities and private cars. Oleksandrivka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Mykilske, Shlyakhove, Sadove, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Tomyna Balka, Zelenivka, and Chaikyne came under enemy fire and air strikes, Novovorontsovka, Arkhangelske, Veletenske, Ivanivka, Kizomys, Lvov, Mykolayivka, Mykhailivka, Novodmitrivka, Olgivka, Poniativka, Rozlyv, Sablukivka, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Chervonyi Mayak, and the city of Kherson.

Since early morning, Russian troops have been shelling the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A woman born in 1952 died as a result of a shell hit to a residential building. Also, a 50-year-old man who was in the yard sustained an explosive injury and contusion as a result of enemy shelling. At noon, Russians attacked the man with a drone. As a result of the explosives dropped from the UAV, a 74-year-old Kherson resident, who was on the balcony at the time of the attack, sustained a contusion and explosive injury.

In the afternoon in Kherson, Russians attacked anambulancethat was responding to a call from a drone. The vehicle sustained minor damage due to the explosives dropped from the UAV. Medical workers were not injured. In addition, the Russian military attacked a minibus in Kherson with a UAV. Five victims are known, including two children. A 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and three women, aged 38, 52, and 54, were diagnosed with explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusions.

In the evening, Russian terrorists dropped the CAB on a residential area. Two wounded women were reported, one of whom is in serious condition. At about 20:30, in the regional center, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone on a 59-year-old man who was in his yard. He sustained an explosive injury.

Russians attacked a 40-year-old resident of Antonivka with a UAV. He was diagnosed with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs. The Russian army also attacked a man in Beryslav with a drone. The enemy dropped explosives from the UAV on a 54-year-old local resident who was on the street. He sustained an explosive injury and amputation of his lower leg. The victim is under medical supervision. His condition is assessed as serious.
