Yesterday, February 1, 2 people were killed and 3 others were injured in Kherson region due to Russian aggression. And at night, the regional defense forces shot down an enemy shahed.
<span>According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson </span>Regional Military Administration, the Russian military shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging 7 private houses in particular. The occupiers also damaged an outbuilding, a garage and private cars. <span>Antonivka, Veletynske, Inzhenerne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, Zelenivka, Beryslav, Novoraysk, Zolota Balka, Novovorontsovka, Dniprovske, Ivanivka, Kizomys, Lvov, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Monastyrske, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Sablukivka, Sofiyivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Tomyna Balka, Tyahynka, Ukrainka, Shlyakhove and the city of Kherson</span> were under attack by Russians <span>.</span>
The official also noted that during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 1 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of our region.
In addition, the Russian occupation forces continue to remotely mine the territory of the Kherson community, posing a deadly threat to local residents. Also in Kherson, police explosive technician Oleksandr Viter was killed during demining after Russian attacks . Before that, six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who were engaged in humanitarian demining in Kherson region, came under targeted fire from the Russians and were killed. Two more SES employees, including a female paramedic, were injured.
