In Mykolaiv region, it is planned to repair the roof of a college, the condition of which threatens the safety of students and staff. UAH 17 million is to be raised for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to overhaul the roof of the South Ukrainian Vocational Lyceum.

One of the main reasons for the overhaul is the leakage of the roof, which poses a serious danger to students and staff. Water leaks can lead to the destruction of building structures, short circuits in electrical wiring, and even injuries to students. The roof had reached the end of its service life, and its deterioration caused damage during snow and ice removal.

According to the project description, the main goal of the project is to improve the conditions for learning and working. Restoring the roof allows not only to preserve the building but also to create safe conditions for students and teachers, reducing the incidence of illness and injuries.

The estimated duration of the repair is 24 months.

The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 17 million. The renovation is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025, which will update the building and improve the learning environment for the lyceum's students.

The project is currently underway and requires funding.

It is also planned to repair the shelter and the building of the Kobzartsivska elementary school with a preschool unit. The shelter will be accessible not only to students and staff of the school, but also to all villagers. To implement this project, we need to raise more than UAH 25 million. The main goal is to create conditions for full-time education and provide safe shelter for community members in case of emergencies.

In addition, it is planned to overhaul the protective structure of Kryvoozersky Lyceum No. 1. The local budget has already allocated almost one million hryvnias out of the required nine. The project is aimed at ensuring a continuous educational process in the format of full-time education even under martial law.
