Police officers detained two teenagers in Odesa region for beating a boy, which they filmed with their phones.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast, the incident took place in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district in late May. However, it became known yesterday, on June 8, after a video made by one of the boys was posted on one of the social networks.

Having initiated criminal proceedings, the police identified the offenders as two friends aged 16 and 17. The boys were detained in accordance with the procedural procedure.

The issue of serving them with a notice of suspicion of torture committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons and choosing a measure of restraint is being decided.

According to the sanction of Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, this crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years.

In April, law enforcement officers also detained three young men in military uniforms on a road near the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, who, under the guise of a TCC, beat and pushed a local resident into the interior of their car. Three young men in military uniforms blocked the cyclist's path with their car, introduced themselves as employees of the territorial center for recruitment and social support, and demanded the 41-year-old man's documents. They accompanied their actions with beatings.

At the same time, the police examined a report of a possible beating of a man in Sukhoi Lyman by employees of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. A video showing local passers-by in civilian clothes poking around a man sitting near a pillar with signs of fainting and accusing the military of beating him appeared on social media on April 4.
