The Odesa Regional Council has published aplan for the preparation of the plenary meeting of the regular session, which was approved by the head of the council, Hryhoriy Didenko, back in April.
The corresponding order was published by the press service of the regional council.
According to the plan, the session is scheduled for June 19. The last date for receiving draft decisions of the regional council for consideration at the plenary session is May 19. The apparatus has to prepare a schedule of meetings of the standing committees of the regional council by May 25, and prepare a draft agenda by June 15.
It should be noted that unlike the Odesa City Council, which holds plenary sessions at least once a month, the Odesa Oblast Council meets much less frequently. The last meeting was held on February 27, 2026. It was the first of this year and the anniversary one - the 30th session, i.e., the 31st session will be held on June 19. Meanwhile, the Odesa City Council has already held 51 meetings, including extraordinary ones.
Intent traditionally broadcasts the sessions of the city and regional councils online, so the 31st session will not be an exception.
Meanwhile, on April 22, the High Anti-Corruption Court began consideration of the merits of the case against Hryhoriy Didenko, head of the Odesa Regional Council, and Yulia Didenko, MP.
The couple is suspected of entering false information in their declarations worth over UAH 8 million, but they plead not guilty. The hearing is taking place remotely - the defendants and their lawyers joined via video link. The case was scheduled for consideration after completion of the preparatory stage in accordance with the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of April 8, 2026.
According to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the officials failed to disclose assets worth more than eight million hryvnias in their declarations for 2021-2023. In addition, prosecutors have filed a civil lawsuit over almost five million hryvnias of assets that, according to the investigation, were acquired without confirmed income.
