Construction of an agricultural park costing 884 million hryvnias has been approved in the Odesa region

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The government has added the “Bessarabian AgroTech Park” in Artsyz, Odesa Oblast, to the state registry. The government plans to spend 884 million hryvnias on the construction of the facility.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

The industrial park’s official status provides access to government assistance and simplifies the process of securing funding for infrastructure development. This creates additional opportunities to expand local production and manufacture finished goods rather than raw materials.

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The “Bessarabian AgroTech Park” industrial park will process vegetables, fruits, and potatoes and produce value-added food products. There are also plans to implement projects in the field of alternative energy here. The facilities will be located on a 23-hectare site. The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 jobs.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Previously, the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council approved amendments to the medium-term public investment plan, reclassifying the project to build a waste-to-energy processing complex under the “urban infrastructure” category. 

The project involves the processingofhouseholdwasteto generate heat and electricity. It is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
