Ukrainian exporters were urged to take a survey on problems at Romanian ports

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine, together with DP World, has begun collecting data on issues related to the handling of Ukrainian cargo at ports in Romania and Poland. The findings will be submitted to the European Commission to improve operations at the Port of Constanța and Polish logistics hubs.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Separately, the association is identifying the specific challenges involved in handling Ukrainian cargo at ports in Romania and Poland. They are working on this issue in collaboration with local ports and relevant industry associations. To document specific challenges, exporters are asked to complete a short survey and, if possible, share real-life case studies.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The survey is completely anonymous, and all data will be shared only in aggregated form. It can be completed by 5:00 p.m. on September 9.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Previously,the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine eased foreign exchange control regulations for exporters of key agricultural commodities. This decision compensates for logistical challenges caused by the systematic shelling of port infrastructure and civilian vessels in the Black Sea region.

In particular, the rules regarding payment deadlines for export contracts for wheat, corn, soybeans, sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, and sunflower meal have been amended. The Ministry of Economy will be able to extend the established deadlines by up to 180 days upon request from an exporter. This will give producers and exporters more time to fulfilltheir contracts.
