New boundaries have been set for 9 protected areas in Odesa region to protect them.

According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Odesa Regional State Administration has officially defined the boundaries and entered information into the State Land Cadastre for 9 protected areas as part of the Regional Comprehensive Environmental Protection Program (2024-2028). This is an important step for preserving the region's ecosystems and effectively controlling land use.

In particular, the data entered relate to the landscape reserves "Verkhniy Les", "Kairovsky", "Novomykolayivsky", botanical reserves "Lisky" and "Kalynivsky", hydrological monuments "Dzherelo Kishevo", "Haidamatska Krynytsia", "Dzherelo Ohrud" and the park-monument "Hetmanivsky Dendropark".

As explained in the EMB, the purpose of this step is to protect ecosystems from unauthorized use, preserve water resources and forests, ensure environmental safety and compliance with environmental legislation. It will also allow for effective regulation of land use in these areas. Entering this data into the cadastre is an important step for the sustainable development of the region and contributes to the conservation of natural resources in Odesa region.

Recently, an arrested land plot located in Prylymanske village council of Odesa district was put up for sale. The starting sale price is UAH 5.4 million.

Prior to that, the Dobroslav Department of the State Enforcement Service in Odesa District of Odesa Region of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice put the seized land plot up for sale for the second time.

Meanwhile, the Kuyalnytsia village council of Podil district was granted back two plots of land that had been allocated to the company for the construction of green energy facilities. A million in rent arrears was also recovered.
