Odesa region is not without its curiosities: 2,000 mined objects reported simultaneously in Ukraine

On the morning of January 30, mass notifications about the replacement of their buildings began to be sent to the email addresses of state authorities, local governments, educational institutions, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banking institutions, entertainment venues and other facilities.

According to the National Police, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions were also affected.

In the Odesa region, local residents record rather strange curious situations when the same state institutions located in the same building find themselves in different situations. For example, in Reni, a civilian institution and a military institution are located in the same building, and the employees of the civilian institution were allowed to go home while the message was being checked, while the military did not receive any messages.

In Izmail, employees of the Izmail City Council building and educational institutions were evacuated.

In total, according to police, as of 12:10 a.m., police units have received more than 2,000 reports of bomb threats in the following regions: Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Kyiv city, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv.

Almost 30% of the notifications have already been processed. At these facilities, the information was not confirmed.

In the fall of 2024, the police reported that they were checking a number of facilities in the Odesa region because of a bomb threat, the author of which accused Radio Liberty journalists of the act. The letter was signed by a person who identified himself as a representative of a "terrorist group" after the name of the anti-Ukrainian telegram channel of the same name, which spreads calls to burn cars of the Ukrainian military and persecute soldiers of the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC).
