Odesa region becomes a target for Russian attacks twice in one day

On November 7, Odesa region was twice targeted by Russian attacks. In addition to the night attack the night before, the region was also attacked in the evening of the same day.

According to the press service of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, in the evening of November 7, the enemy again attacked critical infrastructure in Odesa region with attack drones.

Despite the effective work of the air defense forces, the energy infrastructure in the south of the region was damaged. There were no reports of casualties or injuries. According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out at an energy infrastructure facility as a result of the shelling. The response efforts were complicated by repeated air raid alarms.

On the night of November 7, Odesa region suffered another air attack by the Russian armed forces. The air defense forces destroyed most of the air targets, while some energy facilities were hit. The attack also damaged warehouses and an administrative building. Rescuers extinguished all the fires. According to the State Emergency Service, no one was killed or injured in the attack.

On the night of November 7, Russians attacked Ukraine with 128 Shahed, Gerber and other types of attack drones. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 94 enemy drones in the north, south and east of the country. In particular, 31 attack drones were hit at 11 locations.
