In the morning, Odesa residents heard explosions, after which the city lost power, and later, in some parts of the city, water supply.

Also, according to the citizens, the city stopped supplying heat.

According to DTEK Odesa Power Grids, in the morning of November 17, emergency power outages were applied, which caused a number of Infoksvodokanal facilities to be de-energized. According to Infoksvodokanal, most pumping stations were switched to generator power to restore water supply. However, the large capacity and technological conditions of some of them do not allow for the use of autonomous power sources.

Instead, the Odesa City Heat Supply utility explained that the lack of heat was due to a water supply outage, and as soon as it is restored, heat supply will be resumed.

Also, city electric transportation has stopped running in Odesa.

The situation is similar in other cities across the country. The attacks severely damaged the equipment of the stations.
