Occupation troops covered Kherson region with fire and killed two people

The occupiers attacked Kherson region with artillery, drones and aircraft, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. The shelling killed two people and wounded six others.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Russian troops do not stop terrorizing Kherson region. During the day - from May 6 to May 7 - 35 settlements were under fire, including Kherson, Beryslav and Kherson districts. The occupiers fired from artillery, used drones and aircraft.

Residential areas and critical infrastructure were targeted. Nine private houses and a multi-story building were damaged, and a cell tower, a gas pipeline, a warehouse and a car were destroyed.

The attacks killed two civilians and injured six others.

From May 4 to 5, 2025, the occupiers attacked the Kherson district with ballistic missiles. The shelling damaged two multi-storey buildings, four private houses, a cell tower, an outbuilding and several cars. One person was killed and seven others were injured. Residential neighborhoods, as well as critical, social and agricultural infrastructure, were hit.

From May 3 to 4, shelling damaged two apartment buildings, nine private houses, a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a garage, and cars of local residents. At the same time, social and critical infrastructure in the region was also damaged.

Nine people were injured in the attacks. The day before, at least 10 private houses and several cars were damaged.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russian army has fired more than 2,500 times at the Kherson city territorial community. As a result of these attacks, more than 400 people were injured, including 39 children. More than 40 people were killed in the shelling, including four children. Despite the constant shelling and danger, about 25% of Kherson residents continue to live in Kherson - they stick together and support each other.
