Promoting environmental sustainability by reducing CO2 and other pollutant emissions.

The project aims to develop an environmentally friendly and sustainable energy system to support the stable operation of the city's critical infrastructure.

The project is currently in the implementation status, but requires funding.

Mykolaiv has also decided to install solar stations on the roofs of heating stations. This will provide an additional source of clean energy for the needs of local infrastructure. It is planned to install solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW each on the roofs of the central heating stations of Mykolaivoblteploenergo. A total of 34 solar stations will be installed.

The city's autonomous energy supply projects are ongoing. Thus, it was decided to install heating stations in two high-rise buildings in Mykolaiv. It is planned to spend almost UAH 150 million on this. Individual heating stations are planned to be installed in multi-storey residential buildings in the Namiv neighborhood and in the Korabelny district.

It is also planned to build a complex that will provide the city with a backup source of heat supply. It is planned to build a biomass power generating complex to provide a backup source of heat for the boiler house of Mykolaivoblteploenergo.
