Mykolaiv suffers massive enemy attack: 200 people evacuated

The occupiers attacked Mykolaiv. The city was destroyed and more than 200 people were evacuated.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration,

"On the night of January 22, air defense forces and means in the Mykolaiv region destroyed nine Shahed 131/136 UAVs.

At night, on January 22, from 22:35 to 23:10, the enemy attacked the city with drones. As a result of the falling debris, six fires broke out in different locations; as of 02:52, all fires were extinguished by rescuers.

A six-story residential building was damaged. 200 people were evacuated. Everyone has now returned to their apartments. In addition, the blast wave damaged the windows of apartments in eight apartment buildings and several private houses, damaged the windows of a family outpatient clinic and the administrative building of a transportation company, and destroyed a car. There were also several fires in open areas.

The shelling injured a 74-year-old woman who was hospitalized and a 59-year-old man who was treated on the spot. As of the morning, the woman is in serious condition.

A total of 45 rescuers and 11 units of SES equipment were engaged in firefighting operations. Volunteers from the Rapid Response Unit of the Red Cross of Ukraine, ambulance crews, and volunteers from the World central kitchen provided assistance to the citizens.

On January 21, the enemy fired an FPV drone at the Kutsurub community. On the night of January 21, air defense destroyed eight enemy drones of the Shahed 131/136 type. The falling debris in Pervomaisky district caused a fire in an open area where dry grass caught fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Also, during the day on January 20, Russian occupation forces carried out five attacks using FPV drones on the territory of the Kutsurub community.

On January 16, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with attack drones . They also fired artillery shells at Dniprovske village in the Kutsurub community. As a result, three residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.
