Mykolaiv Residents Make Nearly 2,000 Calls to City Council in 2024

Over the past year, the contact center of Mykolaiv City Council received almost 2,000 calls from citizens. Thanks to the activity of Mykolaiv residents, it was possible to solve numerous problems in water supply, landscaping and other areas of public services.

This was reported by the press service of Mykolaivvodokanal.

Mykolaiv residents are actively contacting the city council's contact center, in particular, on issues related to the activities of utilities, and primarily the work of Mykolaivvodokanal. In 2024, the hotline received 1,187 calls, of which 1,130 were resolved. This is 95% of all inquiries.

Recently, residents of Mykolaiv expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of water at free water supply points, where tanks remained empty throughout the day. In addition, problems arose with access to one of the points due to ice. Citizens noted that this was not the first time that there was no water at this point, it had been happening for several months.

They also appealed to the local authorities about the closed bomb shelter in the gymnasium during the alert, calling for unimpeded access to shelters for all citizens, especially in times of war. In addition, residents of the private sector again faced the problem of untimely household waste collection, and utilities refused to remove fallen leaves.
