In Mykolaiv region, a man reported a 12-day detention in a detention center. The police opened a case.

This was reported by the National Police Department in Mykolaiv region.

In Voznesenskyi district, law enforcement officers are checking the circumstances of an incident involving a possible kidnapping. A 40-year-old local resident appealed to the police immediately after the holidays, on January 6, stating that he had been locked up by the military of one of the TCCs and JVs for almost two weeks.

According to the victim, during this period, he was subjected to force and bodily harm. The police officially launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of illegal deprivation of liberty, which caused physical suffering to the victim. Currently, operatives and investigators are taking a range of measures to identify the specific individuals responsible for these actions and provide a legal assessment.

In particular, on December 28, a person suspected of committing an attack on a serviceman was identified and detained in Odesa during public awareness activities.

While conducting public awareness activities in the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, representatives of the TCC and the JV together with the National Police identified a citizen who in early November this year inflicted a penetrating knife wound on a TCC serviceman while he was performing his duties. After committing the crime, the person was hiding from law enforcement for a long time.

During the detection, the offender tried to escape and actively resisted the law enforcement officers. However, the man was detained due to the involvement of an additional police unit.
