Mykolaiv region receives military aid from the Czech government

During the visit to Mykolaiv region, the Czech delegation provided military assistance to the defenders of Mykolaiv region. The parties also discussed further cooperation to meet the priority needs of the region.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

A meeting was held in Mykolaiv between the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration , Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Strategic Communications Department of the Government of the Czech Republic, Colonel Otakar Foltin , and the chairman of the board of the Post Bellum NGO and member of Group D, Martin Krupa.

During the meeting, the Czech partners handed over important military aid to the region, including DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters, thermal imagers and artificial lung ventilation devices.

Vitaly Kim expressed his gratitude to the Czech Republic for supporting Ukraine and discussed the exchange of experience in strategic communications with the partners.

Back in April 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Mykolaiv Region and the South Bohemian Region. The document envisages the development of relations in the areas of healthcare, business, transport, culture, agriculture, tourism, education, social issues, and environmental protection.

Recently, at a meeting with Danish partners, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk, Bashtanka, Koblivka and Mykolaiv communities presented investment proposals. Represented by EUNABO, they proposed a new level of cooperation - a specific community from Mykolaiv Oblast will cooperate with a specific municipality in Denmark.

Mykolaiv has also signed agreements with international companies to improve water supply, energy efficiency, and municipal infrastructure. 20 global brands operating in the water supply and sanitation sector will help modernize Mykolaiv's water supply system.

In addition, representatives of the Mykolaiv community visited the United States in search of new cooperation. As part of the program, Ukrainian representatives studied American approaches to governance and strengthened international ties. An important part of the program was a trip to Washington, D.C., where they discussed cooperation between local and central authorities and the principles of interaction at the community level.
