Mykolaiv Region Plans ₴210.5M Solar Farm and Energy Storage System

A solar farm is planned to be built in Mykolaiv region. The project is to be implemented on the territory of the Halytsynivska community, in the village of Prybuzke.

This is evidenced by the data of the DREAM ecosystem.

It is planned to build a battery energy storage system.

The main goal of the project is to provide a modern, reliable, sustainable energy system for the Halytsynivska community by implementing an energy storage system and a hybrid backup power system.

The project envisages the possibility of uninterrupted electricity supply in case of emergency outages or emergencies, which will ensure the community's livelihoods, improve infrastructure, and improve the quality of life of local residents.

The project envisages a comprehensive technical solution that includes a solar power plant, an energy storage system and a backup power system, which will allow maintaining a balance of energy needs in any conditions. A total of 10 hectares of solar panels will be installed.

The project is initiated by the Halytsynivka Village Council, and the balance sheet holder is Nico Solar LLC.

The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 210.5 million, of which a significant portion will be spent on capital expenditures, including the purchase of equipment. The main capital expenditures include:

Operating expenses, which cover maintenance and consulting engineering services, amount to another UAH 2.31 million, and funding for technical supervision is also provided in the amount of UAH 11.57 million.

The project is part of the Halytsynivka Community Development Strategy for 2025-2027 and meets the requirements of national strategic documents in the field of renewable energy development.

The construction of solar power plants is also planned in Ochakiv. The goal of this project is to restore infrastructure using the principles of green energy and energy efficiency. More than UAH 400 million in investments are being sought to implement the project.

In addition, solar power plants are planned to be installed in Mykolaiv to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the water supply system. The project also includes the creation of backup power and the sale of excess electricity, which will reduce costs. The total budget of this project is UAH 68.6 million.
