Mykolaiv region decided to create an electric transport network for 112 million

Mykolaiv region decided to create an electric transport network and install charging stations. It is planned to spend UAH 112 million on the project.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing data from the Dream digital recovery ecosystem.

The project envisages the creation of a municipal electric transport network to provide urban passenger transportation and the creation of a charging network for electric vehicles, which will lead to the development of transport infrastructure.

According to the initiators, the project is in line with the plan for the restoration and development of the Ochakiv city territorial community until 2027. It passed public discussions and was approved by the Decision of the Ochakiv City Council session No. 14 of August 25, 2023.

The estimated duration of the project is 12 months. Project preparation has been underway since early 2024. Currently, funding is needed to implement the project.

The project budget is UAH 112 million.

It is also planned to repair the highway in Mykolaiv region. It is planned to raise UAH 363 million for this purpose. According to the project description, the road between the villages is in very poor condition due to the damage it sustained during the heavy traffic of military and civilian vehicles evacuating people from the war zone.

And Mykolaivvodokanal decided to purchase an expensive solar generator. They decided to spend almost eight million hryvnias on it. According to the project description, the use of solar energy will allow the company to stabilize energy supply, especially in critical situations such as interruptions in the centralized power supply.

In addition, the city has decided to install solar stations on the roofs of heating stations. It is planned to install solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW each on the roofs of the central heating stations of Mykolaivoblteploenergo. A total of 34 solar stations will be installed. This will provide an additional source of clean energy for the needs of local infrastructure.
