A project to strengthen the community's energy independence was presented in Mykolaiv. It is planned to attract almost 3 billion in investments.

This is evidenced by data from the DREAM ecosystem.

As part of the post-war reconstruction, it is planned to implement an infrastructure project at the facilities of Mykolaivoblteploenergo. It involves the installation of cogeneration gas piston units of different capacities that will simultaneously generate heat and electricity.

This will ensure a stable energy supply for residential areas, hospitals, schools and other social facilities of the Mykolaiv city territorial community. In the event of damage to external power grids or peak loads, the community will be able to maintain energy autonomy.

According to the description, the project aims to modernize and unite heating networks, reconstruct boiler houses, and introduce new heat supply zones. Its implementation will contribute to the energy stability of the region, attract international investment, and strengthen critical infrastructure.

The initiator, customer, and executor of the project is Mykolaivoblteploenergo. The project documentation has already been prepared, but the full start of work depends on attracting funding sources.

Mykolaiv has also created an investment project to modernize electric transport. The city plans to purchase more than 100 new trolleybuses and trams. To implement the project, it is necessary to raise more than UAH 2 billion.
