In Mykolaiv, the executive committee of the city council has approved the dismantling of 12 kiosks, stalls and pavilions that operate without permits.

As Intent has learned, the decision was made on May 27.

During the meeting, the members of the executive committee supported not only the dismantling of the kiosks, but also the installation of a new mobile temporary structure at the corner of Shevchenko and Soborna streets.

It is a matter of concluding a personal fixed-term easement agreement with Iryna Kryvenko, a private entrepreneur, to place a mobile temporary structure of 5 square meters in the city's central district. The agreement is planned to be concluded for one year.

In addition, the executive committee supported a package of decisions to dismantle illegal temporary structures in Zavodsky, Ingulsky and Central districts.

As explained by Mykolaiv chief architect Yevhen Polyakov, most of the facilities are being dismantled due to lack of documents, clutter and unsanitary conditions.

"These are mainly facilities in Zavodskyi district at the request of the district administration due to clutter, unsanitary conditions and closed buildings without documents," he said.

The objects to be removed include trade kiosks, pavilions, bus stop complexes and buildings with summer playgrounds.

In particular, the dismantling will affect structures on Lazurna, Industrialna, Pohranichna, Kovalska, Sadova, Proektna streets, as well as on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue and at the corner of Zakhystnykiv Mykolaivivu Street and Tsentralnyi Avenue.

The executive committee considered all 13 draft decisions as one package. They were supported by 14 members of the executive committee, and one abstained.

As a reminder, during the previous meeting of the executive committee, Mykolaiv decided to dismantle illegal trade kiosks in Zavodskyi district and approved the installation of summer playgrounds in the city center.

As previously reported by Intent, law enforcement officers in Mykolaiv have launched an investigation into alleged fraud with budget funds during the renovation of road infrastructure. The case concerns the purchase of traffic lights, for which the city paid in December 2025, but the equipment has not appeared at the facilities.
