Mykolaiv City Council to reconvene: more than 170 land issues to be considered

The session of the Mykolaiv City Council, which was interrupted on June 26, is to continue on July 8 via videoconference. The deputies have to consider more than 170 land issues out of more than 200 on the agenda.

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Mykolaiv City Council , Oleksandr Senkevych.

Mykolaiv has set a date for the continuation of the plenary meeting of the 45th regular session of the Mykolaiv City Council of the VIII convocation. The meeting will take place on July 8 at 11:00 a.m. in a remote format - via video conference.

The last meeting on June 26 ended early. Then MP Hanna Nord expressed concern about the reorganization of hospitals, which could lead to the loss of patient declarations. She emphasized the need to wait for the relevant resolution, after which the session was adjourned.

In total, the agenda of the 45th session includes more than 200 issues, including 177 land issues, 26 current issues, and one budget issue. The deputies have already adopted some of the decisions. In particular, they supported the liquidation of Mykolaiv Municipal Academic College, an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada regarding changes in the education sector, and increased the authorized capital ofMykolaiv Parks to UAH 100 million.

In addition, the city council approved two comprehensive programs: support for defenders and their families for 2024-2026; and reform and development of housing and communal services for 2025-2029. The latter provides funding in the amount of over UAH 65.9 billion, most of which is from the city's local community. The program covers both the current maintenance of housing and communal services and the elimination of the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

The deputies also agreed on the city's participation in the international project "Revenue-free water" under the Green Recovery Program. This is a reconstruction of the water supply system in a certain area of the city with the support of the Danish government, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DMFA), and NEFCO.

At the next meeting, the deputies will consider the remaining land issues.
