Member of Parliament of Ukraine from the Servant of the People party Volodymyr Ivanov, who represents Kherson region in the parliament, has officially disclosed his property and income. According to the declaration, which was analyzed by the Center for Public Investigations, the politician's housing issue is closely related to his family.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the official' s declaration.
In particular, the MP, along with his wife Antonina and daughter Oleksandra, actually live in a 26.6-square-meter apartment in Kyiv owned by his father, Ilya Ivanov. The family also has their own real estate, but it is still uninhabitable. Since 2007, the MP's wife has owned the rights to an apartment in Boryspil with an area of more than 88 square meters, which has not been put into operation for seventeen years and remains an unfinished construction project.
The situation with the family's vehicles is similar. Volodymyr Ivanov himself owns only a motorcycle HYOSUNG GT 650, purchased in 2014. As for the car, since the beginning of 2021, the MP has been using a 2008 Toyota PRADO SUV, which is also registered in his father's name, free of charge. The family's financial situation is based mainly on the MP's salary received at the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat. During the reporting year, his income amounted to UAH 746,599, which is an average of about UAH 62 thousand per month.
Despite the fact that the section on cash savings in the declaration was left blank, the family actively uses the Ukrainian banking system. Volodymyr Ivanov has accounts at Universal Bank, and his wife is a customer of several institutions, including PrivatBank, Oschadbank, and Raiffeisen Bank. The specific amounts of the balances on these accounts are not disclosed, as they are likely to be within the limits set by the declaration rules. Separately, the MP confirmed his status as a national public figure, although he noted that his current position is not on the list of those with a high level of corruption risks according to the NACP regulations.
