Lyubymivka Plans Kindergarten to School Transformation for ₴78 Million

The village of Lyubymivka in the Novovorontsovka settlement community of Beryslav district plans to transform a kindergarten into a school with a preschool unit. The reconstruction of the building requires more than UAH 78 million.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, the relevant application was placed in the DREAM digital ecosystem by the Humanitarian Affairs Department of the Novovorontsovo Village Council. Before the Russian invasion, there were two educational institutions in the village of Lyubymivka: Lyubymivka Secondary School and Lyubymivka Preschool. During the hostilities, the school was significantly damaged, and the kindergarten building was destroyed by 20% and is beyond repair. In addition, the institution is far away from the contact line. In addition, it is planned to bring students from the neighboring de-occupied settlements of Myroliubivka and Trudolyubivka. In total, the institution plans to provide educational services to 250 children, including kindergarteners.

The working project provides for

The total duration of the project is 22 months. The reconstruction of the kindergarten building requires UAH 78.6 million. However, there is no money available.

In total, 54 projects to restore the infrastructure of the Kherson region need UAH 639.6 million. UAH 65.5 million is available. The Kherson community submitted the largest number of reconstruction projects to the DREAM digital ecosystem - 36. Bilozerska village council submitted 4 applications. Velyka Oleksandrivka and Vysokopil village councils and Novooleksandrivka village councils published three each. Two announcements were received from Novovorontsovo village council, and one each from Verkhnorohachytske village council and Borozenka and Chornobaivka village councils.

At the same time, no project has 100% funding. For example, the construction of a general family medicine outpatient clinic in the village of Davydiv Brid has only 65.4% of the money needed. That is, out of 33.5 million, only 21.9 million hryvnias are available. For the overhaul of the water supply system in the village of Pravdino, 34.1% has been confirmed - out of UAH 57.7 million, UAH 19.7 million is available.
