The city of Kodyma, Odesa Oblast, has launched a search for a contractor to overhaul the basement, which will serve as a simple shelter for the educational and amenity building No. 1.

Information about this appeared in the Prozorro system on February 23.

The customer was the Northern Center for Vocational Education. This is the educational and amenity building No. 1 at 1a Peremohy Street, Kodyma, Odesa Oblast, Podilskyi District. The expected cost of the works is UAH 15 million 933 thousand, and the deadline is December 31, 2025.

The auction is scheduled for March 12 in the format of open bidding with special features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting bids and appeals.

The project involves complex construction works, including the dismantling of old cement floor coverings, removal of brick partitions and door structures, as well as excavation works to develop trenches and pits, excavation and transportation of soil.

In addition, the project will include waterproofing the basement walls, insulating the facades using modern technologies, installing heating, ventilation and water supply systems, electrical work, and arranging evacuation exits to ensure safety and improve the functionality of the premises, which can be used as shelters in case of emergencies.

Recently, the Usativ village council of Odesa district announced a search for a contractor to select a company to pay for the construction of a protective structure, an anti-radiation shelter, in the village of Illinka.

Meanwhile, in Chornomorsk, Odesa region, an agreement was signed to build a shelter for Lyceum No. 3, but the tender raised questions about the cost of materials. The winner was Premiumstandardbud Construction Firm LLC with a contract worth UAH 97.8 million. A competitor who offered a lower price was rejected due to non-compliance with the requirements.
