The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a citizen suspected of systematically spreading pro-Russian propaganda from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region. According to the investigation, he not only justified Russian aggression, but also called for changing the state borders of Ukraine through public video messages.

This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.

Investigators of the SBU Office in Kherson region are conducting a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against a Ukrainian citizen who is suspected of several serious articles - from collaboration to encroachment on the territorial integrity of the state and justification of Russia's armed aggression.

According to the case file, the suspect has been in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, where he began actively recording and distributing video messages.

In these videos, he publicly denied that Russia's actions were aggression, instead promoting the narratives of the aggressor country and calling for support for its actions. In particular, in the video with the provocative title"Putin's most terrible weapon! Europe is facing a catastrophe!" he openly broadcast a pro-Russian position and glorified the occupiers.

Subsequently, the suspect continued his activities and published new videos, including"Putin will start to capture Western Ukraine. #Special operation 2.0". In it, according to the investigation, he not only justified the war, but also directly called for a change in Ukraine's state borders.

Other videos also contained open support for the aggressor. For example, in the video"Why did Putin cancel the attack on Azovstal?" he continued to spread Russian narratives, and in the address"Russians are like children! On the Situation in Ukraine on October 10" he justified the occupation of Ukrainian territories and again called for support for Russia.

In 2024, while already in Henichesk, the suspect recorded another video -"Millionaire schoolboy! How can this be!?", which was published on the resources of the occupation administration. In it, according to the investigation, he continued to justify armed aggression and support the occupation authorities.

Investigators emphasize that all of these materials were published in the public domain on platforms including YouTube and social networks and were intended for a wide audience.

According to law enforcement officers, the man acted deliberately, guided by pro-Russian views and aiming to support the occupation administration. All his actions are united by a common plan - justification of Russian aggression, denial of war and propaganda of changing the territorial borders of Ukraine.

The suspect has already been served a notice of suspicion, and the court has remanded him in custody. At the same time, he is wanted as he continues to be in the temporarily occupied territory of the left-bank Kherson region. After his detention, the court will reconsider the issue of a preventive measure with his participation.

Another resident of Kherson was placed under house arrest for spreading pro-Russian propaganda. In particular, in March 2022, the man posted a message claiming that after the so-called "liberation of Kyiv," Russia, along with the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, would allegedly "defeat Ukrainian fascism."
