Kherson Region Under Heavy Attack: 1 Dead, 5 Injured in Shelling

The occupying forces continue massive attacks on Kherson region, shelling residential areas and social infrastructure. Dozens of houses have been destroyed over the past day, and civilians have been killed and wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

From April 10 to April 11, Russian troops continued to shell Kherson region. Dozens of settlements came under fire and air strikes, including Antonivka, Zelenivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Havrylivka, Petropavlivka, and Kherson itself.

The occupiers shelled residential areas and social infrastructure. The attacks damaged three high-rise buildings, 16 private houses, a gas pipeline, a garage and a car.

This time, the shelling again resulted in casualties: one person was killed and five others were injured.

On April 8-9, more than two dozen settlements in the Kherson region came under heavy shelling and air strikes. On April 8, the enemy attacked critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. At least three multi-storey buildings, 11 private houses, a farm, an agricultural enterprise, gas pipelines, a garage and a car were damaged. Nine people were injured, including a child.

On April 8, the occupants targeted residential areas, destroying a multi-story building, at least 15 private houses, farm buildings and cars. Four more civilians were injured.

The aggressor continues to terrorize Kherson region with drone strikes. Since August alone, more than 16 thousand UAV attacks have been recorded. To protect the region, a unique defense system was created around the city - an electronic barrier that automatically detects and destroys up to 85% of enemy drones.

Ukrainian specialists are constantly improving the means of protection, using "fishing nets", "laser drones" and other modern technologies.
