Russian Shelling Devastates Kherson Region, Injures 9 Civilians

The army of the terrorist country shelled dozens of settlements in Kherson region, destroying homes and private property. At least four civilians were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

On April 8-9, more than two dozen settlements of Kherson region, including Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Kachkarivka, Tyahyntsi and others, came under heavy fire and air strikes by Russian troops.

The occupiers targeted residential areas, damaging a multi-storey building, at least 15 private homes, outbuildings and cars.

Four civilians were injured in the shelling. Every day, the Russian army turns peaceful villages and towns of the region into a frontline zone.

On April 8, Russian troops shelled critical and social infrastructure facilities and residential areas. At least three multi-storey buildings and eleven private houses were damaged in the attack, as well as a farm, an agricultural enterprise, gas pipelines, a garage and a car. Nine people were injured, including a child.

A day earlier, on April 7, a pregnant woman and her almost two-year-old son were injured when a shell hit a house in the town. The mother covered the child with her body to save him from the debris.

On April 5-6, the Russian army shelled more than 30 settlements in Kherson region, including residential areas and social facilities. One person was killed and five others were injured.

In early April, Russian troops intensified shelling of the Kherson region. More than three dozen settlements, including residential areas and critical infrastructure, came under massive attack from artillery, aircraft and mortars. Residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities came under enemy fire. At least five high-rise buildings, nine private homes, a shop and several cars were destroyed. Five civilians were injured as a result of the attacks.
