Kherson region under fire: one killed and one wounded in enemy attacks

Yesterday, on December 12, social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian military again. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 2 others were wounded.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian military damaged 3 multi-storey buildings and 4 private houses. The occupants also damaged gas pipelines and private cars. Beryslav, Antonivka, Stanislav, Poniativka, Vesele, Inzhenerne, Olhivka, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Tomaryne, Lvov, Novoberislav, Komyshany, Mykolaivka, Tyahynka, Kozatske, Sadove, Tomina Balka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes.

Since early morning, Russians have been shelling Kherson from UAVs. As a result of another drone attack in the Dniprovsky district of the city, a 67-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries. At around 9:00, Russian troops attacked a private house in Kherson with artillery. A 50-year-old woman was injured as a result of a "hit" to the roof of the house. She suffered an explosive trauma, a concussion, and injuries to her arm and leg. An ambulance crew took the victim to the hospital. In addition, the occupants attacked a high-rise building. The building's facade and apartments were smashed, and windows were broken.

Kherson and the region are shelled daily by the Russian invaders. Thus, the Russian military fired artillery at the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 75-year-old woman was killed when a shell hit a private house. In addition, the enemy opened fire on the village of Bilozerka in Kherson district. A 44-year-old man was killed and two men aged 45 and 48 were wounded in the shelling. The invaders also cut off electricity to two communities.

Earlier, the Russian military attacked public transportation in Dniprovsky district with a UAV. As a result, three people were killed and wounded. Before that, the invaders dropped a munition from a drone on a civilian car in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, killing a woman.
