Kherson region under attack: Russians destroy infrastructure and houses, one killed

Russian troops fired at 31 settlements in Kherson region using various types of weapons over the last day. One person was killed and seven were wounded.

According to the Kherson Military District Administration, Sadove, Antonivka, Ivanivka, Prydniprovske, Velytenske, Dniprovske, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Shyroka Balka, Honcharne, Komyshany, Rozlyv came under enemy fire and air strikes, Beryslav, Olhivka, Lvov, Zolota Balka, Novooleksandrivka, Novovorontsovka, Dudchany, Shlyakhove, Zmiivka, Tokarivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Sablukivka, Shylova Balka, Mykhailivka, Mylove, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Vesele, and the city of Kherson.

The Russian military shelled critical and social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaging 3 high-rise buildings and 8 private houses. The occupants also vandalized several private cars.

According to the JMA, there were casualties: one person was killed and 7 others were injured in the attacks.

The Kherson MIA added that in the suburbs of Kherson, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone, injuring a 64-year-old man riding a bicycle. He sustained a mine-blast injury and a shrapnel wound.

Kherson and the region are shelled daily by the Russian invaders. Thus, over the past day, 1 person was killed and 8 others were injured due to enemy drone attacks.

Before that, the Russian military fired artillery in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 75-year-old woman was killed when a shell hit a private house. In addition, the enemy opened fire on the village of Bilozerka in Kherson district. A 44-year-old man was killed and two men aged 45 and 48 were wounded in the shelling. The invaders also cut off electricity to two communities.

Earlier, the Russian military attacked public transportation in Dniprovsky district with a UAV. As a result, three people were killed and wounded. Before that, the invaders dropped a munition from a drone on a civilian car in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, killing a woman.
