The regional hospital in Kherson has announced a tender for the overhaul of its basement worth over UAH 35 million. The auction will take place on May 2, and the work should be completed by the end of the year with the support of the Red Cross and the OVA.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system Prozorro.

The Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital, a municipal non-profit enterprise, has announced a tender for the overhaul of the basement of the hospital's medical building. The expected cost of the work is UAH 35.5 million. The minimum price reduction step is 0.50% of the total purchase amount, i.e. UAH 177 thousand 597.

The procurement is carried out in the format of an open tender with special conditions. The auction is scheduled for May 2, with the deadline for submitting bids on May 1.

The winner must complete the repairs by December 25, 2025. The customer is the regional hospital, which acts in accordance with the order of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration and with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The bidders must provide a tender offer in the amount of 0.5% of the expected value of the procurement item. There is no requirement to provide security for the execution of the contract.

Companies that submit a tender offer with a bank guarantee in the amount of UAH 177.5 thousand are allowed to participate. A 10% advance payment after signing the contract and three stages of post-payment - 30% each after completion of the work are provided. The procurement is carried out within the framework of martial law and in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital is one of the key medical institutions in the region, where about 50 people receive care every day, including patients with serious injuries. Between 170 and 200 people stay in the hospital on a regular basis, including civilians affected by the shelling of Kherson and nearby settlements.

The hospital is currently planning to create a 30-bed mental health unit as an intermediate link between general and psychiatric facilities. The project is worth about UAH 11 million and involves the overhaul of the third floor.

In January, the hospital signed two contracts for security services worth more than UAH 4.5 million. The agreement was signed with the Kherson Regional Police Department to ensure public safety and order.
